Dato’ Khalid Ahmad

Chairman of Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah (USAS) Berhad and Advisor and consultant to the Malaysian audit firm of FMSalleh & Co. Mr. Dato Khalid is also responsible for the launch of The KL Options and Financial Futures Exchange, now part of the BURSA Malaysia. He has experience as a Commissioner of Suruhanjaya Pengangkutan Awam Darat (SPAD), Director of Technology Park Malaysia, and adjunct professor and adviser to several Universities. Fellow in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and was a President of its Advisory Committee.
Over 50 years of global experience in investment banking, investment management, mergers and acquisition, private equity, and public and private board and executive roles. He is also president of top-performing resource based mutual fund, head of investments for a Canadian bank, as head of asset/liability management for a major Canadian bank, as a manager of a large high-income bond fund and in several other advisory and investment management roles. Dato’ Sri Hong Leong Chee
Dato’ Sri Hong Leong Chee has a distinguished career as senior executive, director, and leader in the Malaysian and international business communities. He commenced his career in 1990 coordinating the development in corporate and annual strategic plans for the Leisure Holidays Group of Companies and MBf Food Division. From 1992 to 1998, Dato’ Sri Chee was active in various businesses involved in designing and property development serving as Chief Executive Officer of Canary Homes Sdn Bhd and Canary Infoport Sdn Bhd. He subsequently joined Tanco Resort Berhad where, from 1998 to 2002, he held various positions from General Manager rising to Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director. He currently sits on the Board of Inari Amertron Berhad, Microlink Solutions Berhad and Hextar Industries Berhad as Independent Non-Executive Director. He also has and continues to serve as an independent director on numerous boards of various organisations involved in Timber and Building Material business, as well as the Education and Healthcare sectors. He has received numerous awards, including Dato’ Sri(SSAP) from the state of Pahang in 2013, and has taken on a number of volunteer positions, including acting since 2013 as President, St. John Ambulance Malaysia, KSS Selangor. Dato’ Sri Chee received his Bachelor of Engineering (Computer) in 1987 and Master of Business Administration in 1989, both from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
Mohamed Zahed Bin Hashim
Mohamed Zahed Bin Hashim is Vice President of the Malaysia Qatar Business counsel, a non-profit organization that promotes business between Malaysian and Qatari companies, a position he has held since 2019. From 2006 to 2020 he worked for Qatar Petroleum, where he served as Auditor on the Executive Committee responsible for safety and integrity, design and operations, and regulatory compliance. From 1999–2005Dato’ Mohamed Zahed Bin Hashim founded and owned Column Maintenance Services ,Ltd a plant shutdown specialist contractor. He began his career with the Petronas Group of Companies, where he worked from 1983-1999. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Dundee, Scotland and is the author of four publications relating to natural gas facilities and processing.
Mohammed Faizal Bin Abd Jabbar
Mohammad Faizal bin Abd Jabbar has extensive experience in the legal, capital markets and the business sector in Malaysia. He graduated with a law degree (LLB (Hons)) from the International Islamic University in 1993, LLM(Hons)University of Cambridge UK in 1994 and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) UK in 1995. He had majored in corporate law and finance in two of Malaysia’s largest law firms Messrs Shearn Delamore and Zul Rafique & Partners. He was involved in major legal projects namely the construction of the KL International Airport, the Federal Administrative Capital Putrajaya and the financing of the iconic Kuala Lumpur City Centre better known as the Twin Towers. He has been on the board of several subsidiaries of the UBS Malaysia group of companies since 2000 and currently is an independent non-executive director of UBS Securities Malaysia since2005 and served as the Chairman of the board from 2019 to 2021. He also runs several businesses in the property retail and services sector as well as the renewable energy industry in Malaysia.
